Submit Your Real Wedding

Would you like your wedding featured in the pages of Seattle Met Bride & Groom? If so, we look forward to hearing from you if you live in Washington state or if you were married here. Whether you have the most elaborate of weddings or one that is spectacularly simple — we are interested in featuring your big day in an upcoming issue of Seattle Met Bride & Groom. For each issue we’ll select 5 to 7 Real Weddings. Maybe one of those will be yours!

How to Submit Your Real Wedding for Consideration

Because we want to run recent weddings, please submit your wedding no later than 8 months after your wedding day.

Weddings may be submitted by photographers, couples, or any vendor; whomever submits the images should check with the couple before doing so.

Submit a selection of photos via email or on DVD or CD-ROM through regular mail. Choose photos that you feel best illustrate the couple and the detailed, specialized, personalized aspects of the wedding and the reception. Please look through our published images to get an idea of the types of images we print. Send no more than 15 low-resolution images via email and no more than 20 by DVD or CD. If and when we want to see more, we will request a full set of high-res pictures.

Include your name, email address, and phone number, along with the contact information for the couple, when you submit.

Please make a copy of all materials that you submit as we cannot return them and are not responsible for lost submissions.

If submitting via email, send your low-res images to realweddings@seattlemet.com

To submit by regular mail, send your complete package to:
Seattle Met Bride & Groom
Attn: Real Weddings
1201 Western Ave, Suite 425
Seattle, WA 98101

For more on submitting to Real Weddings, see editor Amanda Zurita’s blog post on the subject.

Note: Due to the large volume of submissions that we receive, we are not able to individually respond to each submission. If we are considering including your wedding in our pages, we will follow up with a questionnaire, request for vendor references (a list of who performed various services and etc.), and photography and model releases.
